Born and raised in Brockton, MA, Craig O'Connor made a career as a video editor in Hollywood (going so far as to cut the tribute montage for Jerry Lewis's Thalberg Award presentation for the 2009 Academy Awards) before he settled into writing. He wrote and directed the live stage show The Holy Snail and then wrote and published three books: the short story collection Happy Holidays and the murder mysteries The Whitechapel Five and The Monster Of Modern Times. He is currently working on another short story collection.
